Polychromatic Resonances for trumpet ensemble

$12.00Price

Instrumentation: eight trumpets or trumpet ensemble.

Polychromatic Resonances is a work for eight trumpets that explores timbral stratification through the interaction of resonance, spatial distribution, and extended brass sonorities. The piece unfolds as a continuum of evolving spectra in which harmonic fields and rhythmic cells emerge and dissolve through processes of accumulation and transformation. Improvisatory gestures function as structural material, shaping formal direction and registral density across the ensemble. The spatial interplay among the eight instruments creates shifting layers of acoustic color, treating resonance as both sonic phenomenon and metaphor.
