Last Boomsday

“Last Boomsday” was commissioned by Maryless Miller for the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra 1x1 series. Kyle Venlet (violin).

Boomsday was a premier annual Labor Day fireworks festival in Knoxville, Tennessee, held from 1987 to 2015. Known as the largest Labor Day fireworks show in the U.S., it featured a massive pyrotechnic display over the Tennessee River and Henley Street Bridge.
