Setup

Clarinets

I perform on a Chedeville Elite F0 mouthpiece with Légère Reeds (European cut, 3.75–4) on B♭ clarinet. On bass clarinet, I use a Chedeville F0 with Légère Signature series reeds for tenor saxophone (3.25–3.5). I also work with a Clark Fobes 10K HB mouthpiece, paired with Légère 2.5 reeds for tenor saxophone. The setup prioritizes stability of articulation and consistency of timbre across registers.

My Chedeville setup is the core of my playing!

Preferred Electronic Hardware

The Torso S-4 and Torso T-1 function as central instruments in my practice. The S-4 operates through probabilistic sequencing, integrating Euclidean distribution, phase shifting, and stochastic processes. This enables emergent rhythmic counterpoint and supports a process-based approach in which form arises through iterative transformation. For sample manipulation the S4 is beyond amazing.

The T-1 extends this system into MIDI space. Its algorithmic operations—scale filtering, harmonic constraint, and real-time mutation—mediate between gesture and pitch organization. The interface allows continuous recomposition, framing performance as an evolving interaction between control and indeterminacy. Fun to perform, multilayered and in cases unpredictable.
